Cobb State Court: Defense Verdict
In the Fall of 2009, a jury in the State Court of Cobb County returned a verdict in favor of a driver represented by Sean Hynes. The driver admitted rear-ending the Plaintiff's car, but denied the Plaintiff's claimed injuries, including a concussion and post-traumatic migraines, were related to the accident. The Plaintiff sued the Defendant driver seeking to recover approximately $35,000 in past medical expenses and $20,000 in past lost wages, plus future medical expenses and lost wages. The jury agreed with the Defendant driver and returned a verdict in her favor. The Plaintiff was not awarded any damages.

Seminar Presentation: October 2009
In October 2009, Sean Hynes spoke at a continuing legal education seminar conducted at the State Bar of Georgia Headquarters in Atlanta. The seminar was titled: "Defense of a Personal Injury Claim" and Sean spoke about defense planning in automobile accident cases.
